The largest growth sectors are health care, information technology, manufacturing, skilled trades, and hospitality.
“What we’re seeing is Detroit outpacing the state, outpacing the nation in the amount of residents getting jobs,” said Jeff Donofrio, executive director of workforce development for the City of Detroit. “It’s good progress.”
