Morningstar’s monthly Performance Summary provides property-level performance information for all Morningstar-rated single-family rental (SFR) transactions. The November report shows that the SFR market “remains strong, stable, and slightly improving,” as reported by Realty Biz News. (It certainly is in Detroit!)
Among the metrics tracked by Morningstar:
- Rents rose 2.9% in October.
- Month-to-month rental retention rates averaged 86.5% — the second highest level in 2017.
