The downtown is poised for new business, and retailers are taking note. The latest development came Wednesday when Swedish clothing retailer H&M confirmed it will open a store in Detroit’s downtown this fall. The retailer has leased 25,000 square feet of space from Bedrock in three adjoining buildings at 1505, 1515 and 1529 Woodward, at the northwest corner of Woodward and Clifford.
