The birthplace of Motown and Techno, Detroit is known for its music. On Wednesday, June 21, more than 150 local acts will perform 30- to 45-minute sets at more than two dozen venues around the City as part of the free, day-long Make Music Detroit festival. The festival will also include workshops for guests to perform, learn and teach music.
Make Music Detroit is part of a global Make Music Day that will take place in more than 750 cities across 120-plus countries.
