Lonely Planet, the world’s largest travel guide book publisher, has named Detroit a top-10 urban destination. In fact, Detroit was the only U.S. city selected for the prestigious Best in Travel 2018 list.
“It’s like the whole place is caffeine-buzzed, freewheeling in ideas,” Lonely Planet said of Detroit, its number-two city worldwide.
