Global entertainment icon Madonna — who has invested in Detroit in the past — took to Twitter two days after Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos’s shocking $13.7-billion takeover of Whole Foods, urging the billionaire businessman and budding philanthropist to invest his money in the Motor City.
In her tweet, Madonna called Detroit “one of the coolest cities in America.” Actor Mark Wahlberg and retired NBA all-star Baron Davis would probably agree.
