The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy is using a $345,000 grant from the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation to fund a design competition set to transform West Riverfront Park into “a world-class gathering place for Detroiters and visitors alike.”
The park renovation is part of a citywide resurgence making international news for years now. It’s why they’re calling Detroit “America’s great comeback story.”
